Yorkshire and the Humber peer group
The Yorkshire & the Humber Peer Group is for all those working on creating and delivering digital services in Local Government organisations in the Yorkshire & the Humber area.
This region includes:
- East Riding of Yorkshire
- North East Lincolnshire
- North Lincolnshire
- City of York
- North Yorkshire
What we do
The aim is to build a Peer Group that can best support digital practitioners in the region to build great digital services using the Local Government Digital Service Standard.
We have held 3 Peer Group meetings already and have had a number of guest speakers from Peer Group members sharing their Digital Transformation journeys including:
- North Yorkshire CC
- City of York Council
- Rotherham MBC
- North East Lincolnshire Council
and a guest speaker from Argyll & Bute Council.
Each meeting is well-attended and involves a high level of networking and problem-solving

How to get involved
The Peer Group meets quarterly. You can book your place on the next planned event when organised via our Eventbrite pages.
We’ve create a Slack channel which you can sign up to the Local Gov Digital Slack Team here with your gov.uk email address. Why not have your team host the next event? Or suggest a theme to focus on?
