Focussed around the Local Government Digital Service Standard, the Friday is a collection of presentations and workshops as well as opportunity to meet others from across the sector.
Saturday is an unconference, where the agenda is set on the day by those who attend. The sessions are an opportunity to discuss or work through a topic or question that you have always wondered about with some of the greatest minds in local government – it’s not 40 minutes of PowerPoint followed by questions and answers. If the discussion isn’t working for you then speak up or move on to another room to see what’s going on in there.
If you work in or around local government and care about creating better public services then this is event is for you. All tickets are free.
Freelancers and private sector workers can register to enter a lottery to win one of 20 tickets for the Friday – there are no restrictions on the Saturday.
