Standard Summit announced

Launched in April 2016, the Local Government Digital Service Standard suggests a common approach to creating good quality, user centred digital services, but what does it mean for your council?

LocalGov Digital and the Greater London Authority are pleased to announce the Standard Summit, at City Hall London, on Monday 19 September 2016 to help explain. This event is open to everyone working the public sector.

From 10am to 1pm you’ll hear from the early adopters in local government and how a similar approach, in place since 2014, has improved Central Government service delivery.

From 1pm to 2pm there’s Networking Lunch, sponsored by Kable, and from 2pm to 4pm we’ll be running workshops on how to design and deliver services to the Standard. Refreshments for the day are sponsored by MySociety.

This is a must for any council looking to improve its service delivery, and we recommend that leaders, chief executives and directors attend in the morning and digital practitioners all day, though of course all are welcome for the more “hands on” sessions in the afternoon.
